Victory today at Lembaga Rayuan Selangor

Another victory today at Lembaga Rayuan Selangor. Our client’s appeal to the said lembaga was allowed. Our client’s application for a development order to build houses on a vacant land was rejected by Majlis Daerah Sabak Bernam under section 21 of the town and county planning act,1976. We appealed to the Lembaga Rayuan against the said decision of the Majlis. A 3 member panel of the Lembaga Rayuan Selangor, after hearing our submissions and the objections of the Majlis, allowed our client’s appeal and set aside the decision of the majlis. The Lembaga Rayuan also ordered a development order to develop the land be issued to our client. Our client can now develop the land. I was assisted by Ms.Lily chua
