Another victory.

An Indian national, MUTHUMALAI RENGASAM, I was acquitted and discharged by Magistrate Puan Farah of Mahkamah Majistret Jenayah No.8 at Jalan Duta Court Complex today from a charge under Section 15(1)(C) of the IMMIGRATION ACT,1959/63 (ACT 155); an offence for overstaying after the expiry of her valid social visit pass.
Her bail amount and her Indian passport were ordered to be returned to her forthwith.
She has been facing this charge since 28.4.2023.
Finally, she gets to go home to her motherland, India, which she longs for, without any problems or hassle.
